WHEELCHAIRS
FOR QUANG TRI DISABLED
In March, 2006, 553 wheelchairs were delivered
to Quang Tri Province to provide mobility to the
disabled there.
GCSF, in partnership with the Free Wheelchair Mission,
worked with the Quang Tri Fatherland Front, to ensure
that the wheelchairs were given to the most needy
of the Province.
Here one can clearly see how this program directly
benefits the people of Viet Nam.
The
recipients of the new wheelchairs gather at the
receiving ceremony to thank GCSF and the Free
Wheelchair Mission.
The
container truck with the unassembled wheelchairs
arrives in Quang Tri.
Nguyen Dang Quyen can't wait for his new wheelchair
to be put together for him.
The
Fatherland Front, assisted by community members,
assemble the wheelchairs.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dao, age
46, awaits her wheelchair.
